7.3.07 - Virtue's Departure - Virtue succeeded in her campaign against Malevoy's forces. He was ushered into Oblivion's arms and the mortal agency known as Terrel & Squib is no more. The Orpheus ghosts fought a difficult battle and now celebrate a great victory. They've proven more than a match for Her brood and I fear they will no longer be able to escape Her notice. If you insist I continue to wait, I suspect they will be recruited by our enemy or destroyed by Her. I await your instruction.

6.29.07 - The Second Coming Part 4 - My dear children, our enemy has been brought low before us. All that is left is for our merciful hands to deliver the killing blow that will rid the world of this blight once and for all. Remember your capture at their hands, remember your servitude. This is why you suffer, this is why you struggle, and this is why these demons must be destroyed. Our brethren have at last been freed and we have destroyed our enemy's tainted weapons. Tomorrow we will march into the beast's very lair and bring the wicked to final justice. Rest well children, for tomorrow I will need more from you than ever before.

6.14.07 - The Second Coming Part 3 - Their war continues as the ghosts of Orpheus systematically erase every connection to their dark past. Their murderers were destroyed in a brilliant conflagration, mortal governments were reminded to not meddle with forces they cannot understand, and now Orpheus old competitor and rival is being hunted. Squibs empire will fall at the hands of Virtue and the Bitch will lose one of her most powerful servants.

Events look promising for your cause, now two among them have tasted the power of Oblivion and skirt deliciously close to the edge of the Void. Whether they join you willingly or reluctantly, I have no doubt they will serve you well. Virtue has already been joined by the sister, Advent, and the Orpheus ghosts fight reluctantly at the side of one of our own.

Its only a matter of time.

6.7.07 - The Second Coming Part 2 - Our campaign continues, my children. The ghosts of Orpheus were true to their word and their support prevented me from losing any of you precious spirits. The demon is beginning to suspect the threat we pose. Our mission will only be more difficult from here. We strike again tomorrow and the very walls of Heaven will shake with our fury. Tomorrow my name as well as yours will strike fear into the hearts of our enemies. We have all suffered much already and there will be more pain ahead. I promise you that salvation will come, and soon. Allies continue to gather under our righteous banner just as the wicked continue to fall. Victory is unavoidable.

5.31.07 - The Second Coming Part 1 - Dissention spreads through their ranks as each suspects the other of treachery. The festering rot of distrust and suspicion will hand them to Oblivion quicker than the sharpest scythe blade. Their foes are powerful, but more importantly they are unified. A strength of purpose and a unity of vision drives their enemies. Without solidarity, the crucible will not last to see their foe's plan come to fruition, let alone have the power to stop it.

One among them is suspected more than the rest. He struggles fiercely to avoid joining us too soon. He will be a powerful addition to our forces. I wait patiently for our first meeting, as allies.

They recently made contact with the one called Virtue. They learned of her plans to crumble Malevoy's empire and free those enslaved to his cause. Naturally, I will report on their progress as their campaign against Her commences. Should they be successful at aiding Virtue, it will be obvious why you've chosen them. There is far more to these Orpheus ghosts than I realized...

5.24.07 - Death for Sale / The Baron of Burma - Its amazing what can happen when you have a million dollars in the bank. Hopping an international flight was easy, although Osario called and let us know that we had popped up on his radar because of the suspicious nature of our purchase.  "If I can find you, others can."  Myo Han needed a rescue though, so after a small altercation in Burma with some NSA mercs, we found his plantation.  Celest stayed behind to track the NSA guys . . . .

As for Myo Han, he's big-time plantation owner.  Fields of Stromithicarum, watched over my mortals with guns and specters with . . . whatever specters use.  Myo Han put on a big show for us, and luckily the specters didn't take notice of us.  We looked too alive . . . but that could easily change.  Myo Han said he felt like he was being watched all the time.  Probably so.  Myo Han took us on a helocopter ride, which took us pretty close to the airport, where a Lear Jet was waiting for us.  Russo projected and stayed behind to set some fields on fire.   Lucky bastard.

The Lear Jet was all set to go, but with Myo Han being so suspicious I suggested that Pibble inhabit the plane, but channel her anger to make sure a vitality flare didn't go off.  It was quite a site to see Pibble reach
into her soul and fuel her powers with poisoned rage . . . until the entire plane fell apart.  Apparently her power works a little too well when she's angry.  Too bad an e-demon popped out to tell the specters where we were. We raced and found another plane big enough to get us back across the Pacific, leaving specters in our wake.  Everyone made it out, although it took Celest an extra day because she was following the mercs . . . who were stationed across the street from the church.  Yeah, I'm gonna pay them a visit soon.  Thanks, Celest.

T&S is finally in our crosshairs.  About damned time.

5.15.07 - Formation of the Hives - Celest cant stop fidgeting. The May Fair Greens specter hive looms in front of her like a lone grotesque mountain marring the countryside. It radiates sadness, despair, hate, anxiety it sends shivers down Celests spine. No wonder the neighboring community has fallen into shambles and those living in the building itself found suicide to be a better option. Celest is uncomfortable being this close to the hive and shes terrified knowing theyre going in. Celest closes her eyes focusing.

The only thing she wants is to make it out in one piece. Use a few well-spent vitality to get in and get out fast. Part of Celest want to just wait right here for her comrades. Shell keep watch. Yeah right. Celest knows that in all likelihood, she would turn tail and run. Being close to it is one thing, being alone and close to it is another. No, she decided it is better to go with them and go in. She needs her friends as much as they need her, best to stick close. In her experience, some places are better left undisturbed, but in they go anyway hoping no specter is alerted to there presence. Celest clenches her teeth, stays close to Russo, and ventures forward.

5.10.07 - Meeting Terrance Green - Karma. In the end, its all about karma.
Sure, sometimes karma works out in your favor. Sometimes, though, the past catches up with you. My friends, they don't know half the shit I've done. Hell, maybe its not a lot. Just depends on your perspective.
Russo wanted to have a little RFD sit-down without RFD knowing about it. So a little Forebode and we found out where he'd be. Sure enough, it didn't go smooth. Never does these days.  Nextworld showed up, complete with some Spectre backup. On the plus side of things, RFD now owes us. Without our help, he'd probably be gauzed all over the side of that building. Russo gave back a little karma to the Nextworld bitch who's been tracking us for a while. And then he hopped a digital transmission to Libya, then on to Latvia. He did some good work for us. Probably made us even with
Nextworld. Burned down their headquarters, wired us as much money as he could find. Yeah, a good day. Too bad karma had to find my body in the
Church. Just as Celest and I were leaving the field, I bit it thanks to an
old friend who I should've remembered would turn into a Hue. Maybe karma's even with me, but I'm gonna hunt Football, and then I'm gonna make him hurt.
The conversation with RFD went pretty well. He's filled us in on a lot of
shit, including the shit that happened three years ago. Seems like there
weren't lots of Spectres before the swarm, and spooks could pass fairly
freely through the Shroud. Now its a stormwall, and Spectres can get
through, but other spooks can't. He told us about Bishop, too. Lots of
connection there with the Temple of the Mother of Vision and the Church of the Angelic Host. Told us some interesting stuff about T&S, too. Things
are gonna get a lot worse before they get better.
But I'm proof that karma's real. Fuck with the world, and the world fuck's back. But I understand my place a little better. The specters are racking up a huge debt. And when its time to pay, they're gonna hurt. I just hope we're the ones to twist the proverbial knife.  -Sean

5.3.07 - The Pale Rider - "Three hundred lives taken in a single night. The plan was flawless. Marvelous really. All those clueless young people willingly took their medicine. They simply wanted to break the monotany of their pathetic little existences, but they got a bit more than they bargained for. That's what happens when you barter with your soul...

Those Orpheus ghosts are proving quite tenacious. They discovered the plot too late, further evidence of its genius, but acted swiftly. They single-handedly prevented the reaping of many souls. It wasn't enough of course. Their enemies are too great, too many, too powerful, and far beyond their comprehension.

If only they knew it is only the beginning. If only they knew just how bad things will get. If only they knew the sacrifices that will be required of them. If only they knew that She will not stop.

You are going to tell them. You will be our emissary. You will guide them to the truth. You will tell them what must be done. You will tell them how to fight, how to survive, and how to win.

They will stop Her. Whether they want to or not!"
