Malfeans, Shadow-class Red. No culture on earth has ever made mention of Malfeans. The subject "Malfeans" appear in books regarding ghosts, the authors' claimed no ties to any particular faith. Claiming to know the 'real truth' these authors said the name of the Malfeans was whispered to them from the beyond. As Legend has it Spectres universally served 'Oblivion', but were simply the pawns, shock-troops, and lieutenants for the much older, more twisted entities. The occult community assumes the name Malfeans as a collective title for all the evil forces: demons, devils, fae nobility, dead gods, the first ghosts, and elder gods. It has since been determined that Malfeans are classified within two sub-categories: 'The Onceborn', and 'The Neverborn'. The Onceborn began as regular ghosts, but had long ago been warped by their darker natures and the destructive forces they served. The Neverborn never existed as mortals within the Skinlands and simply sprang from some dark spiritual pit.  -Dr. Spite

Spectres, Shadow-class Red. The Spectres are always hostile. Their presence at the attack on Orpheus showed them to be working cooperatively, in larger numbers than ever before, and alongside living projectors. The hives popping up in major cities indicate increasing cooperation among Spectres as well. A few hours spent observing the unpleasant structures makes the Spectre chain of command rather obvious. What it is they are preparing for, remains to be seen.

The Blasphemers, Contender Green. Though the rising ghost population swelled their numbers considerably, the recent Spectre invasion has culled them back down. They are currently involved in the Anti-Spectre Movement, but it is assumed they are merely interested in self-preservation. The extent of their willingness to cooperate as well as their intentions if the Spectre threat is ever defeated are unknown.

Mr. Jigsaw, Shadow-Class Green. Far too much about "the Spectre who fights Spectres" is uncertain. Currently, there is no evidence that he holds any ill will toward spooks or projectors, yet there is no evidence that he's directly attacked any Spectres either. Much more information should be collected on this mysterious individual.

Pigment Cults, Foe Green. With Bishop gone, the cults are without a strong leader. His Flatliner followers are presumed to remain in charge of their respective cults, but this is unconfirmed. At this point, the cults are in capable of proving any real threat.

Orphan-Grinders, Mirage Green. Not long ago, the idea of a redeemed Spectre was simply too good to be true. Recently, however, more and more of these strange Spooks are popping up. Can any Spectre be redeemed? How can this process be repeated? Do Orphan-Grinders hold the secret to defeating Grandmother or will they prove to be Her secret weapon during the endgame? Too much remains a mystery.

Media, Foe Gray. Finally given something more substantial to report, news stations have dropped spook related stories for the tragic earthquake in a city that should never have one. Still, better safe than sorry. Stay off camera and avoid answering any questions.
Status:  Avoid.

Lazarus Redux, Contender Blue. The world's newest dead firm has done more for the living and the dead in the last 4 months than all of it's predecessors combined. Serving as a secure haven for projecting spooks, a clearing house for ghost-related information, and a liason between the dead and the living, Lazarus Redux is quickly establishing itself as the city's first line of defense against any threat this side of the Stormwall.
Status: Support.

Operation: Black Mercury, Contender Blue. Special Forces Operational Detachment Omega is the US Government's official, if classified, response to spooks and Spectres. The Department of Justice took all spook-related intelligence from the FBI and the NSA and placed it in the capable hands of the US Army. If Black Mercury has a driving mission, it is unknown, but their eagerness to run "training missions" against large hives in problematic areas is definitely reassuring.
