Becky Zirpel, former National and current NWA Benefits Chair has put in many long hours seeking and negotiating for our benefits. The most recent addition, a Sam�s Club Discount took nearly a year of hard work. Jenny Blandford, current National Chair, plans to continue to support legislation to allow FERS Sick Leave Credit. She also plans to keep communication flowing so membership is aware of all benefits available to them. I see myself as a conduit in the communication chain. State Benefits Chairs have been very patient as I�m learning the art of forwarding messages and attachments so they can send them on to members at the state level. Please feel free to contact me at my work or home e-mail address. I don�t know much myself, yet, but I know some people to go to for answers or help. That is what NASCOE is about, helping our members. In closing I would like to suggest that every Nascoe Member check out the Benefits Page at www.nascoe.org.
