The Third Annual Health Fair/Street Festival!

Our Third Annual Health Fair/Street Festival was a success this year! Many human service agencies represented.  Free health screenings also took place, which included: Pregnancy, HIV, Syphilis, Sickle Cell, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, and Dental.  Food and entertainment was provided for spectators that attended the event. 

This year, representatives from the following agencies participated in the health fair:

Bethlehem Baptist Church performed several musical selections for everyone that attended.  The Washington Drive Step Teams, Project I AM and The Extreme Step Team, gave exciting step routines that were very entertaining.  The UNCG African Dance group were also in attendance, with the crowd enjoying every moment of their performance.

Other entertainment that took place included two poets and a caricature artist.  Food was served and a spacewalk was provided for the children.  This day was a very exciting day, filled with fun, entertainment, and education on different resources in the High Point area.  If you would like to know more about this event or participate next year, call (336) 882-0488.
