Be aware that on nice summer days and weekends it may get rather crowded at the ferry stand so be on time. At peak times (11am-1pm outbound, 4-7pm return) you should be there at least 15-20mins in advance, otherwise you risk not being able to get onboard! All ferries below depart from Vippetangen, which is a short walk from either Radhusplassen or from the Central Station (15mins max), see the map on our Beach topo web page. You can buy tickets onboard (20kr one way) or from the ticket vending machine at the Ferry stand (35kr summer return). Flexikort and Dagskort are also valid. The ferries are operated by Oslo-Fergene A/S which is a privately owned company. They do their best to get you safely to and from the beautiful islands so be sure to pay for your ticket!! To get to Huk for Huk (naturist) beach, Hukkoden kro and Paradisbukta beaches you can take the Munkholm "ferry" opposite the Radhus (schedule unknown), or take bus 30A to Bygdoy (passes along Nationaltheatret, via Drammensveien, Solliplass, Bygdoy Allee). You can also take the Museumferry from Radhus plassen, exit at Fram museum and walk to Huk (20-40mins).
