2.  George Phillip Arnold, born August 19, 1919 in Bemidji, Beltrami County, Minnesota; died April 27, 1995 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia.  He was the son of 4. Charles Arnold and 5. Anna Elizabeth "Myrtle" Berglund.  He married 3. Mildred Delane Anderson June 17, 1945 in Coral Gables, Florida.  Both George and Mildred are buried at Georgia Memorial Cemetery, Marietta, Georgia. 3.  Mildred Delane Anderson, born September 18, 1923 in Haw River, Alamance County, North Carolina; died December 26, 1999 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia.  She was the daughter of 6. Charles Holt Anderson and
7. Viola Elizabeth Isley.

6.  Charles Holt Anderson, born April 15, 1897 in Alamance County, North Carolina; died March 15, 1992 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.  He was the son of 12. Adolphus Lee Anderson and 13. Frances Rachael Hurdle.  He married 7. Viola Elizabeth Isley November 26, 1920 in Alamance County, North Carolina. Both are buried at Culley�s Meadow Wood Memorial Park, Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.
7.  Viola Elizabeth Isley, born April 02, 1902 in Alamance County, North Carolina; died May 19, 2001 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.  She was the daughter of 14. John Alson Isley and 15. Martha D. Graves.

I
n 1930, the family was enumerated in Haw River. In 1950, Mimi and Grandpa were living in Mebane. They had moved back to Haw River by 1960 into a new house that Grandpa had built. The house was on NC highway 49 north of Haw River just south of where her sister Fannie and brother-in-law Timothy lived on the farm.

After Uncle Norm retired from the Navy, he taught mathematics at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida and later taught at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Uncle Norm was a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy.

Elizabeth Wilkins Holt.  He married 13. Frances Rachael Hurdle October 26, 1892 in Alamance County, North Carolina. Both are buried at Cross Roads Church Cemetery, Alamance County, North Carolina.
13.  Frances Rachael Hurdle, born December 09, 1870 in North Carolina; died June 04, 1933 in Alamance County, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of 26. James M. Hurdle and 27. Margaret F. Walker.

Neither Fannie or Timothy had any children from either marriage. Fannie and Timothy lived on her farm after their marriage. This farm was on NC Highway 49 just north of Haw River. She was buried beside John at Long's Chapel Church north of where they lived. Timothy was buried beside his first wife, Roberta, at Friendship United Methodist Church.
