There are more sites that deal with native radio, but I just got to keep a lookout for them. So far, this part of the site is fairly small.
If you know of another site with a list of links to native radio sites, please send me that info. Thanks.
- KSOC: This is a (college?) radio station coming out of Oregon. There's going to be a native DJ (2-8 tha native) who will do some shows (Cypha Litez and Noctorunal Emissions) on Fridays and Sundays. The times aren't known at this time, sorry. Oh, and Cypha Litez will have guest appearances from various artists.
- Missinipi Broadcasting Company: This is the site for Saskatchewan Radio station dealing in various types of music, including native music. It also serves as info for recent happening around canada, dealing with native peoples. *This is also available through the internet through Streaming real audio.*
- FM90: This is the Bemidji State University (I think in MN?) radio station's site. A guy named Gary Jourdain Jr. has a weekly segment on Sundays (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) called, "Voices of the People." *The station does air over the internet through Real Audio.*
- RainbowWalker's Page On Native Radio: Rainbowwalker also has a pretty good list of Native Radio, (or stations that have some part-time native programming) on it. I was going to try and do so, but wouldn't come close to what Arlie has already done. So, I'll just provide a link to it.
- Airos: This is American Indian Radio On Satellite (AIROS). Basically, this site is a listing of what they offer, and the time slots for the programming they air. It is apart of Native American Public Communications. If you have real audio, and want to listen to native music, stop by here. Also, throughout the schedule, they have a talk program called, "Native Voices" where they get calls about native issues and news about natives.
