This collection of links are for some of the best sites I've seen for Rap. There are more sites out there to check out, but not many of them are as good as these are.
- Tru Thugs: This site has been redone to new standards. A lot of info available here, and there are also focuses on Tupac, DMX, and others. If you're into hip hop, check the site.
- DirtyHog.com: Has been down for some time? This site concentrates on the southern and west coast styles of rap. They got interviews with various groups and artists, along with label spotlights (where they look at a 'hot' label and analyze it). Also, a reviews section is also up along with other sections I haven't mentioned here.
- HitEmUp.com: This was originally just about Tupac, but expanded on to bring news about Dre, Snoop, & others. It has news before other sites do, and has columns worth reading. This is a pretty big, and good site to check out.
- Redbone's Site: This is another Hip-Hop orientated site, but is much more than that. They have an 'Ask Hunny' portion of the site, something for sports, and lots of columnists for the site as well. This is also another pretty good site for hip-hop heads.
- AKA.com: This is a pretty nice Hip-hop site. Updated a lot, with a lot of info when it is updated. Different sections to check out, and holds monthly contests at times. A nice site to check out if you're into hip-hop. BTW, it mainly deals with east and west rap. Not much of southern stuff here.
- Wodie.com: This site has been down for awhile now. Hopefully it gets up and running again, soon. It was a pretty good site, from what I saw of it. We'll see what the outcome is for this site later.
- Down-South.com: This site is for Southern Rap. That goes for Memphis, Atlanta, Texas, Louisianna, Florida, and whatever else southern state represents. This site does have a lot to check out here. They got articles, pics, audio, and a message board along with other stuff to check out. It's blowing up and it's a pretty good site to check out.
- Pacup.com: This site is a good site about Tupac Shakur. It has a lot of non-tupac, hip-hop info as well. It usually is updated in monthly segmants, but new info on Tupac doesn't appear as much as it used to.
- Trinity 4 Infinity: This site is now redone for 2000. They got an entirely new layout and logo. They have a pretty good arsenal of tapes to purchase. Some with original beats, and earlier ones without. These guys are starting to come into their own with delivery and producing of their rapping careers.
