When Prue was a teenager, she went out with Andy (T.W.King) but time had lead them to different paths and she had become engaged to a man named Roger with whom she worked in the museum.  However when she discovers that Roger had flirted with Phoebe, she cancels the wedding and leaves her job.  When she is at hospital waiting for Phoebe (who had fallen off her bike) she meets Andy who is now Inspecter Andy Trudeau, and divorced.  But Prue had just received her powers and didn't know if she could go out with him.  In the end, Andy asks her out to lunch and she accepts.  She spends the night with him though she is a bit frightened of going into a relationship this fast.  Andy doesn't really understand her reaction, but after that, their paths keep crossing  (because of murders committed by demons she is chasing.  Prue decides to tell Andy the truth thanks to a truth spell.  He tells her that this does not change his feelings for her, but that he just wants to lead a normal life, with a normal wife, normal children and no warlocks chasing them around every two weeks.   They decide not to see each other for a short while and soon, the truth spell stops working and Andy forgets (although soon afterward, he finds out again when he sees strange things happening with Prue and her sisters).  He disovers her secret once again but decides to help them and cover-up for them...after all, they are all basicly fighting for the same thing.  Later on, a demon dressed as the Inspecter Rodriguez, finds out and plans to kill the girls with the help of another demon, Tempus.  Andy finds out and arrives at the manor to protect Prue, but it is too late, and Rodriguez kills him.  However, Prue is unconscious and meets him in her coma.  He tells her  that it was his destiny to die for her and that she must keep fighting, that he will always be there for her.  Prue has trouble getting over it and never really finds true love again but Andy's partner, Darryl Morris, also finds out the girls' secret, and helps them in every way he can, just as Andy did.
When the girls get attacked by a demon who goes by the pseudoname of Ms. Hellfire, Prue decides to assume the assassin's identity in order to find out who hired her.  In her new identity, Prue gets tangled up with a seemingly ruthless criminal, Bane Jessup (Antonio Sabato Jr.).  After sharing a passionate kiss on the  dancefloor, he discovers that she is not really Ms. Hellfire and turns a gun on her.  It is disappointing to see that he was just interested by the killer and that it was not true love, and he ends up in prison.  However, later on, the criminal mastermind returns rekindling the sparks between him and Prue.  When Bane narrowly escapes an attack by a demon, he forces Prue to use her powers to save him from certain death.  When Piper and Phoebe discover her in a compromising position with Bane, they are reluctant when Prue tries to convince them that he is changed and that they are to trust him and kill the demon anyway.  The mutual attraction between Prue and Bane is difficult for her to deny, but in the end, he turns himself back into prison and they decide that the situation was too complicated to carry on.

Dan (Greg Vaughan) appeared in charmed at the beginning of season 2, he moved in next to the girls and he lived there for a while with his niece Jenny.  When he first arrived, Phoebe had her eyes on him but Dan soon fell in love with Piper and they started dating.  Dan is a very kind and caring man and they dated more or less throughout season 2 until Piper decided her heart truly belonged to Leo.  He only found out the girls' secret at the end of the season when a genie tricked Piper into making a wish.  He did not take it well at all so Piper made another wish for him to forget and move on with his life, so he moved away at the end of the season.
In the first season, Piper befriends a ghost, Mark (John Cho) who was murdered by a gang leader and whose ghostly soul will be dragged into hell by a Chinese soul-eating monster if he doesn't get a proper burial. The reason for this is that Wong, the gang-leader, put his ring on Mark's finger and burnt the body so that everyone would think that Wong is dead.  The girls save his soul but Piper is left Broken-hearted.

Still in season 1, in episode 11, Phoebe meets her roguish ex-boyfriend Clay (Victor Browne) who is in town looking for a reconciliation.  His attentions always seem to have strings attached, in this case a stolen Egyptian urn which carries a fatal curse which he wants to pawn off at Prue's auction house.  Prue and Piper are very suspicious and untrusting of him but Phoebe begins her romance with him again.  Only to be disappointed finding out he was using her to sell off this urn.  He is saved from the curse when he does a truly selfless act and risks his life for Phoebe, but in the end he has to leave.

Paige and Shane
Paige and Glenn
When we first meet Paige, Shane (Jordan Bridges) is her boyfriend.  However, in the second episode of Paige's appearance only he is taken over and posessed by the Source (the chief of all evil) who is trying to convince Paige to join his side, and not the Charmed Ones'.  After Paige realises that evil is not the right decision, and that this isn't Shane, she joins the Charmed Ones and the Source leaves Shane's body which disappears.  It would seem that Paige's first Lost Love has come sooner than expected.

Glenn is a friend of Paige's and they've known eachother all their lives.  They aren't a Lost Love technically and sort of have a thing going on, they definitely like eachother a lot, but don't see much of eachother.  Glenn knows that Paige is a witch since the time Paige was careless enough to leave him in the Manor alone with the Book of Shadows, and she cast a spell on him that went wrong and ended up with him being kidnapped by demons.  Glenn wasn't very happy when he realised that Paige was a witch but now he beleives her and visits her often.
N.B. At the end of season 5, Phoebe vanquishes Cole, her husband, who has become a demon.  Therefore he becomes a lost love although their story carried on for so long that he and Phoebe have their own page on this website.  To see it click here.
