| What makes America great? Is it our supposedly democratic government? Not so much. Is it our wonderful road system? No! Is it our throw away society? No! Is it our capitalist economy? No! This country is great because I can say whatever I want. If I want to say things that will shock you or piss you off, I can. I can draw a swastika on the president's head and post it on my website which, in theory, is accessible to every internet connection in the world. Although I doubt more than five people visit this site. We can critisize our government. We can question our laws and our authority figures. It makes us great. We must continue to do these things in order to evolve with time. If we always accept what is given to us we will never change. We will be locked in time, and we will never move forward. |
