| night had fallen once again bringing the lover's return white roses in his hands for her he threw them to the ground she lied there so lifeless as he knelt down to where she lay her eyes still open even in death his sanity went astray 'she could not die for they had love' his thoughts and voice had cried 'this cant be how love's to end!' he would have her one last time he raped her corpse on the sand bloody and mangled in his hands even inside her was cold as ice her skin far paled in death if she wouldnt return than he would follow he would give himself to death he wept as he held her close to him he unsheithed the rapier at his side and pulled it from its casement and stabbed its blade to the sky "o' envious moon!" he screamed to the night "you took away this perfect love and you mock me here tonight" "one night too late, all is lost but this blade shall be my savior" at that he kissed loves cold lips and ran his heart through with the rapier ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ years past since love's tragidy on the red-sand celtic shore and the bleeched remains of lovers lie here forever more yet up between these fragile bones hope fore love still grows a symbol love never ends the blooms on an ancient white rose |

| over the celtic hillsides across the purple moor around the edge of the ocean to the end of the world she stands atop a cliff a single candle burns looking out 'or the sea awaiting her love's return loyaly standing fast below her rocks and sea wild sage grows up 'round her she sings out a memory of a decade's past promice to expire tonight when the moon is at its zenith all hope fades from light he had given to her a locket delicate silver heart with a single rose engraved the symbol they would never part but he was called away on a ship to foreign lands "ten years if i do not return its then youll find me dead" she has waited calmly many a year past gone lamenting over memory and in her desire she longs to see her love once again to touch his perfect face to recive her fondest memory and bring him to this place she would lead him by the hand by blindfold to the shore and he would lye her in the sand and make love to her once more his gentle touch his sweet embrase his sincere eyes gone- without a trase she would end it now for she could not bare to wait weeping came from deep within filled her with a stinging despair all hope of her love's return had died in the darkness there tears streamed from her redened eyes she cried his name to the black night sky she screamed till wearyness took her and fell to her knees praying to die she woke on the ground and arose tears trickled down her breast sunlight caressed the horizon she would put this love to rest robes of white she discarded and walked to the edge of the land her raven hair up in a knot and the locket in her hand the morning breeze touched her skin she shivered from her depths she rose her eyes and kissed the sky and from the cliff she lept her body lay mangled on jagged rocks blood washed its way to shore her spirit wafted on the ocean's foam as for love- nevermore, nevermore. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
