This is Me and My Car
This is a picture of me and my car. It's a pretty crappy car, but it's my car and I like it. It's a 84 Mercury Marquis iif that means anything to you. It was made the same year I was born. Owning this car has really taught me how to start a car that just won't start. My favorite safety mechanism in the car is that if it is going to break down, it always does so in a convenient place: a parking ramp, the local Perkins, or in the driveway. It now has a CD player in it. I like changing the tracks on my CD player because it makes a beep noise, and that beep noise is the most advanced noise my car makes. I've thought of naming my car. But I don't know what I'd call him. A personification of my car would be (in my opinion) some old man that smokes cigars who used to be able to kick ass back in the day, but now a walk around the block makes him winded.
Things that make My Car Crappy: I could do a better job shifting gears than the automatic transmission (I've never driven a stick) The electric locks don't always work The steering wheel cover fell off The arm rest in the back seat fell off. It always smells like burning oil
