In the Fall of 2004, I plan to attend Oral Roberts University (ORU).
Mission Statement of ORU
Oral Roberts University was founded as a result of the evangelist Oral Roberts' obeying God's mandate to build a university on God's authority and the Holy Spirit. God's commission to Oral Roberts was to "Raise up your students to hear My voice, to go where My light is dim, where My voice is heard small, and My healing power is not known, even to the uttermost bounds of the earth. Their work will exceed yours, and in this I am well pleased." Oral Roberts University is a charismatic university, founded in the fires of evangelism and upon the unchanging precepts of the Bible. The Board of Regents and the president and chief executive officer are dedicated to upholding the University's founding purpose.

Lauren's Testimony
God has literally saved my life while being here at ORU. A few months ago, I was in a car accident and I almost died.
The collision experts said that if I had been hit just an inch to a foot more on the right, I would
have been killed. In addition to that, God totally arbitrated in the courthouse.
The high cost of the accident was completely waived, and I did not have to pay for anything.
God made a way where my insurance company paid the car off, and no points were added to my license!
Molly's Testimony
This semester has been different than any other because God has given me true friends, and He
has taught me the value of friendship. I lost hope for friends because they used to always let me down.
But God divinely hooked me up with people who loved me and wanted to see me grow.
Don't ever change
Pedro threw the beer bottle to the ground. He was the popular one in high school, but what did that matter now?
Two divorces and alcoholism left him broken and penniless. He pulled the Gideon's Bible out of the drawer and
