Mission Statement

General Ministry

There was a mission statement spoken audibly by the Lord to me on two different occasions. The first time I heard this mission statement, I was at the end of a long fast in the U.S. during the year 2002. The Lord spoke only two words: "Feed them." Later I heard Him speak these same words again to me though I was not on a fast. On both occasions the Lord recalled to my mind a particular supernatural experience in my life.

One morning, in Lagos, Nigeria about the year 1997, I was awakened by a clanging sound. The sound was as if someone was hitting my metal bed frame with an object to produce an alarm sound. I awakened to find I was the only person in my very small room. I was relieved to see no other person was physically there because I was to be the only person in my room. However I did discern a Presence in the room with me.

Immediately I heard an instruction from the Holy Spirit, though not audibly or in words. He instructed me to "read the Gospel of John". It was about two o'clock in the morning when I received this leading from the Holy Spirit. I immediately obeyed by reading the entire Gospel of John. The Gospel of John would be the first Bible book I had ever read!

A few months following this experience I came to the sudden realization that I even had a calling. However at that time I refused to acknowledge my calling and attempted to run away from it. Attempting to run away from my calling was not a pleasant experience. Soon after this attempt, I was struck with an illness that was sudden. Within an few hours of being struck with this illness I lay dying on my bed in Nigeria. The illness was so sudden I had not been able to contact anyone for help. As soon as my heart cried out for help, I experienced hearing for the first time the audible voice of the Lord. In a quiet, gentle voice the Lord asked, "Are you ready to listen to me?" Finally I was willing to do exactly what He said. Though weak and dying, I immediately responded by saying, "Yes!" and within one hour I miraculously recovered.

The Lord does not give illnesses to man but man can make himself prone to an illness or sickness at times if he is walking in disobedience to the Lord - that I had done. And the Lord was merciful towards me - I had been given another chance at life. From that moment on, what resides in me is an overwhelming reverence and fear of the Lord, and an intense desire to continually commune intimately with Him. A few months after this experience, I heard His audible voice again. He then said, "You are from Me."

The Lord has sent me. The mission statement spoken audibly to me by the Lord is: "Feed them." (John 21:17) The Lord has sent me to feed His sheep.

Music Ministry

Beginning in my childhood, music provided a means for me to play what was in my heart. In second grade, I would spend my recesses at school in a building situated next to the playground. Voluntarily practicing how to play the piano, I did not realize at the time that would be the beginning of my music ministry. I had not even been born again in the Lord yet He already had me in His heart.

I was a little child who believed the sounds in my heart could be sounded through the piano tunes that I played. At that age I did not know any different though I realized later in my adult life the Lord had a hand in drawing me to Him and the heartbeat of His Heart. From deep inside the recesses of my very being, I knew as a little child I was not alone.

In the manner in which the Lord began my music ministry is the way He will lead me through to the end. My mission in music ministry is:

  • To sound the musical expressions I hear from deep inside my heart through the Spirit,
  • To stretch forth my hands in music for Him to carry my heart where I would not go, and
  • To feed His sheep with the sounds of the Spirit for the ear of their heart to know.
