I believe
the only foundation to build one's life on is the Word of God set
forth in the sixty-six books of the Holy Bible.
(1 Cor. 3:9-11; Jn. 1:14 & 18, 14:6, 3:16;
2 Pe. 1:20-21)
I believe
there are only two kingdoms and they are in conflict on the earth:
the kingdom of God supporting truth (light) and the kingdom of Satan
supporting lies (darkness). (Mt. 12:26-28;
Jn. 19:36-37, 8:44-47; 1 Jn. 5-6)
I believe
only one true God exists and is the Creator of all things. God is
eternal and is three distinct persons in one - Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. The three distinct persons in God are equal in divinity,
power and glory. (Ge. 1:1-3; Jn. 1:1-3; 1
Tim. 1:17, 6:16; 1 Jn. 5:7)
I believe
Satan originally named Lucifer an archangel and anointed cherub
who covered the throne of God, rebelled against God his Creator.
Satan is eternally cast out of God's Presence for rebelling against
God, and establishing his counter-kingdom of lies (darkness) to
circumvent God's plan for man on the earth. (Ezek.
28:1-19; Rev. 12:7-7; Ge. 3:1-5)
I believe
Adam was created by God in the image of God, righteous and without
sin. Through disobedience to God and obedience to Satan, the image
of God in the Adamic man was hidden by unrighteousness, sin and
spiritual death introduced into the world through man's first disobedience
to God. (Ge. 1:26-27, 2:16-17, 3:6 & 8,
1 Cor. 15:21-22, Ro. 6:16 & 23)
I believe
God the Father gave His only begotten Son Jesus, who offered Himself
as a one time sacrifice, to eternally redeem the Adamic race, through
the blood of His cross. Jesus died on the cross, was buried and
rose bodily the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the
Father in heaven, and is there to intercede for the saints. (Jn.
3:16; Ro. 8:3; He 2:14-15, 7:25, 9:11 & 26 & 28; Jn. 19:32-34
& 40-42, 20:1-20; Lu. 24:15-24; Ac. 7:55-56; Eph. 1:20)
I believe
the Holy Spirit who remains on earth, first came to earth at Pentecost
when Jesus ascended to the Father in heaven. The Holy Spirit is
on earth to reprove the world of sin, regenerate man and indwell
in him, progressively transform man back into his original created
image of God, teach and bring all things to man's remembrance, and
to comfort man's heart. (1 Jn. 5:8; Ac. 1:8,
2:1-4; Jn. 16:7-15, 14:16-18 & 26, 3:5-8; Ro. 8:11 & 16)
I believe
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life for returning to God the
Father in heaven. Salvation is received or rejected by man who is
either eternally redeemed or eternally condemned through his own
will. Salvation is only through grace and faith in Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior, and the only act required of man to be saved
is to call on the name of Jesus in repentance declaring Him to be
their Lord and Savior. (Jn.
14:6, 3:16-18, Mt. 9:13, 10:32; Mk. 1:15; Ro. 3:21-31, 5:21, 8:9;
Ro. 10:9)
I believe
the Lord Jesus baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit evidenced by
speaking in heavenly tongues. Water baptism and the Lord's Supper
are two ordinances to be observed by the Church until Jesus' return.
(Mt. 3:11-17; Mk. 1:8; Ac 2:1-4; Jn. 3:22;
1 Cor. 11:24-25)
I believe
the Church is the Body of Christ with Jesus as Head, birthed at
Pentecost and ordained to preach the gospel to all nations, and
then the end will come. Out of darkness will shine a Glorious Light
witnessed by the Church. Through the power of the Holy Spirit the
Church is being brought to perfect state as the Bride of Christ
having no spot or wrinkle - the New Jerusalem. (Col.
1:18, Ac. 1:5, 4:1-4; Mt. 5:14, 16:18, 17:1-2, 28:18-20; Jn. 17:16-20,
20:21; Eph. 4:13, 5:27; Ac. 1:8; 2 Pe. 1:19; Rev. 21:2)
I believe
through Jesus' one time sacrifice on the cross, Satan has been judged
and eternally defeated. Jesus is alive eternally and has the keys
of hell and of death. Satan and his angels will be cast into the
lake of fire at the end of the age. (2 Cor.
5:21; He. 9:28; Mt. 16:18; Jn. 12:31; Rev. 1:18, 11:15,
20:10)
