Our aim, where ever possible, will be to take a scenario/map with the location of the wargame show or re-enactment event being the focal point of the game we will be playing.
We ran the Cressing Scenario at the Napoleonic Association Re-enactment event at Newstead Abbey over the late May Bank Holidday 2008 (please see link on our Event Page) and at the Reading and Devizes wargame clubs (please see link to our Club page) The scenario is based on an encounter between opposing brigades on the flank of the army. The rest of the army are fighting a large battle at Braintree.
At 'Attack' Devizes we ran our second Cressing Scenario. The Blue Army have been defeated and a blue brigade cut off from the rest of the army is trying to retreat without being intercepted by a red brigade.
We have written a new scenario for 'Attack' at Devizes on 13/07/20008 which is based on the Battle of Roundway 13/07/1643, except our scenario is in 1808. We take that game to 'Colours' at Newbury in September. (please see link on our Event Page) .
