These are
three of my favourite articles. I wrote two
of them , Lolita and Momentary Lapse of
Reason for the
RECT college magazine - "THE PIERRIAN SPRING".
The third article - Ramblings of a Misfit- I
had written for the souvenir magazine
of Guwahati Medical college(2001).
The shades portrayed in the writings
lean towards a more darker tone. But then shades is all about interplay of light and
darkness. Sometimes brightness dominates and on other ocassions
darkness
prevails. What matters finally is the magnificience of the
Shade that comes through.

LOLITA
Adolescent crushes..We have all gone through them. This is a semi-autobiographical
account of my first crush. The escstasy of not feeling the pain
anymore is the essence of the story.The name obviously has been unscrupously
lifted from the original classic...a must read .

MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON
This is an article that I dedicate to all those who know what getting "stoned"
is all about. Welcome to the realms beyond reason.

RAMBLINGS OF A MISFIT
I wrote this article after a night out. We had a big party in our house ( I was working for Infosys then)
and I spent the whole night talking with an old friend of mine. The result was this
story. I dont think it is autobiographical, but yes, you will definitely find SHADES of me in it.

SUMMERS - BEYOND LEARNING
This article is based on my Summers experience in IIMB. Resemblance to any character (including 'I') is purely coincidental. My tribute to SHADES of IIMB Summers - Actually quite heart rendering, if you view it in the right perspective (that is, from 'my perspective')
