The Communictions group for the Community Area was specifically set up to enhance and co-ordinate communications through the Plan.

The team is, like the Community Planning Teams themselves, a diverse bunch.

We are:

Our role is to be the 'hub' of communications through the Northern Area Community Planning Teams, passing information between them and between the teams and the outside world. In a two way process, we gather feedback and become a central point of contact for those wanting to know more and get involved.

Further important roles are the publication of our newsletter, 'Getting in the Picture', the development and administration of the web-site and the promotion of the Community Plan - letting everyone know of our successes.
