As part of MIT's Global Entrepreneurship class, I traveled with four fellow MBA students to Uruguay to work at a company called Scanntech.
Before I got there, I spent a week in the resort town of Punta Del Este, living a life that was completely outside my usual reality. After that, I spent three weeks slaving away
at the startup POS software company and during the weekends was able to sneak in some beach time. I must say that out of all the countries in South America, I never expected Uruguay
to be the one that I know best!

Before heading back to the grind in Montevideo, we checked out some of the scenery around Punta.

The hand below is a famous sculpture in Punta, representing the pull of the riptide which has claimed many lives.

After another week at Scanntech, I decided to head for a more relaxing locale in the extreme East of Uruguay. On the way, I caught a bite to eat with some Sloanies.

The next day we arrived at Punta Del Diablo.
