Not too long ago nothing but a crappy little shack existed in this clearing. But now there is a nice stirdy two story stone house, complete with flawless panes of glass in the windows. Home to Kael Drache, Scragg Fedrat and their daughter Kisa.
Near by, just within the forest is a small stream, providing all the water needs to the small family. Behind the house, through a thicket of trees is a larger clearing, more of a grassy field then anything.
Not far from Drache Haus is the lands known as "The Bone Yard". The darkness envoloped all those who dared approach the area long ago, the thick canopy of the trees ensured that. What may have drew those brave souls was the thought of adventure, the sight of that black stone tower jutting out of the forest, pointing like an accusing finger at the sky. Most would not able to see, but if they could, it would only be a few feet. What they would know, it that somthing underfoot crunched, snapped, slid over eachother like stones and twigs. If one were to reach down, pick up one of these they, or find some source of light, they would find a horrid sight. Bones. The entire of the area, the clearing in a fifty foot radius around the tower, a carpet of bones. Bleached with age, yellow with youth, some still holding the flesh of their former owners, even corpses littered over the area. It was from the work of this hellish places dwellers. Not wise is it to wander here, they are very protective of their home, and are quite willing to add to their collection. |
