Kholum the Swift

Eleint 4

From the journal of Conor Llyldferg:

Well, we passed the night without incident ... unless, of course, you count the fact the Dane fell down in some sort of deep sleep -- with his eyes  open -- sometime during his watch. Not knowing what else to do, we were able to close his eyes and put him to bed. He woke up in the morning feeling a little groggy, but without an explanation ... or a least one he was willing to provide.

Hootie was visibly happier to be in the area, and Mar and Ariana saw clear indications that the animals, at least, were getting back to normal.

We decide to go back to the lake and see what's what.

Well ... nothing's what. No lake ... no tomb ... just forest. After searching around a bit we found a single, tiny tombstone which read very simply "Kholum".

We scratched our heads for a couple minutes and returned to camp. We packed up and headed back to Mosstone.

The druids were happy with our results, and were kind enough to enlighten us as to the identity of this "Kholum the Swift".

Apparently, many, many years ago, he was a infamous, though, mediocre thief from Amn. One fine day he simply disappeared, apparently in possession of a number of "Relics of Unimaginable Power".

Huh ...
