The Beginning

Mirtul 26

The party travels north on the Old Road, finding a ravine with evidence of a trail down. The party explores and finds the remains of a keep sunk beneath the ground. Exploration finds a settlement of kobolds at odds with a settlement of goblins. The party avoids hostilities with the kobolds, negotiating with the “queen” Yusdryal to find the kobolds lost white dragon wyrmling in exchange for rewards. The wyrmlings keeper, Meepo, is to assist the party.

Mirtul 27

The party forays into goblin territory, rescuing the wyrmling, as well as Whiff, the gnomish wizard from their tormenters. The party returns to the kobolds and claim their rewards.

Mirtul 28

With a key obtained from the kobolds, the party is able to enter a part of the keep that they had previously been unable to enter. Here they encounters a glowing blue globe that cause fear with music (but has since been inert since removing it from the keep) as well as some form embalmed “dragon priest”, whom they believed to have slain.

Mirtul 29

The party returns to town to replenish supplies. They hear of more mysterious events, including the flattening of an entire field by what was described as a miniature hurricane.

Mirtul 30

The party returns to the ruins (after a short battle on the road with twig blights) and delves deeper into the portion held by the goblins. Overheard conversations indicate that there is some sort of grove tended to by the ‘Outcast’. The party descends to a lower level in the keep, encountering the bugbear chef and his pet rats.
