My Little Pony Trading Rules

These rules are to be followed at all times. They are for your own safety as well as mine.

1. I will only trade adult for adult or baby for baby, unless it is rare. Petite ponies and teeny tiny ponies are classified as babies. Sea horses and sea ponies are classified as adult or baby depending on the size.

2. One pony on your want list = One pony on my trade list. Again, if it is rare, and/or it is something I particularly want I will trade for several ponies. For example a Big Brother in very good condition with a minor trim, hat, bandana and comb is worth 2 common ponies.

3. Only ask for something that is on the trading list. For example if you write "Hi, I have Fireball and for that I want Northstar or Thundercloud" you will be refused.

4. At present, I am really looking for ponies that are on my want list that I don't possess, rather than ponies that are need of upgrade. They are however still listed. Ask back in 3 years time. (My goal is to eventually get all the ponies that ever existed.)

5. No dealers

6. Feedback under ebay or yahoo is no longer accepted due to people using other people id's. References are the only acceptable form. If I know you, you may not be asked for references.

7. Locket's Good Traders List is accepted, but only if your current email address is listed. Anyone can say, "I have feedback under [email protected]". I must have at least one email from the address listed on the website (unless in very rare cases, you are listed under more than one email address)

8. All new ponies (1997-2001) MUST be MOC, unless they are listed under my Custom wants section. The only exception to this is Sea Breeze, the Mail Order pony.

9. All traders I haven't traded with before or buying their details (name and email address) will be posted on the MLPTP (My Little Pony Trading Post). This is to guard against scammers.

10. All traders will be referred to Locket's Bad and Good Trader's List.

11. If you are buying, currency other than $ (US dollars) or £ (British pounds) is not accepted. No international money orders, personal cheques (unless UK), money grams, western union, paypal or anything else. Our banks cannot accept green US money orders anyway (that is not my fault!).

12. NOCHEX is also another way to buy, but if you are planning to use this route, an extra fee is payable (this is because NOCHEX adds a fee for every transaction). It is only available in UK £ at the moment.

13. If you don't have any references, I may consider trading, but only if you send first. If you don't like this, don't trade. You may be an honest person and/or a newbie, but there are people out there who like to take people's money and/or ponies and run.

14. If you include a photo of the pony in your email, please only send *.gif, *. jpeg and *.jpg formats.

15. No winzip files.

16. No *.exe files.

17. I reserve the right to refuse to open any files sent to me.  Please be aware your photo may not be seen. This is to guide against viruses as I have had them in the past.

18. Due to the recent crisis in New York/Washington if you are in the USA/Canada I'm willing to place an 2 month hold. However for the UK and/or other countries I am placing a month's hold. That means, upon receipt of my address I must have the ponies/money in my hand a month. No more, no longer. If the money/ponies is no show after that date, then I presume you are a bad trader. We all have to be patient at this moment in time. If anyone living in the USA/Canada is reading this, I expect that you wait 2 months also. At time of writing some civilian (people) planes are allowed in or out of the USA. I am presuming it is the same for goods planes as there are a possibility that bombs could be placed abroad. 2 months I think is a reasonable estimate for the postal service to get back on track. Also, I think that only USA postal services are running inter-country but not out of country. I don't know.
