Personal Research Project #1
Conifers of Coastal British Columbia

There are a lot of trees, but we hardly ever really pay attention to them. We all know about those Christmas trees, and the trees you have to rake every autumn. But the truth is, there are a ton of species of conifers (trees with cones).

Conifers (or coniferous trees) are often classified into two groups: conifers with leaves that look like scales and conifers with leaces that look like like needles. These leaves are often refered to as scales and needles.

You might have heard of the Pacific Northwest. The conifers I have included in this project grow around this area but within the borders of British Columbia.
