HE WHISPERS, "PEACE BE STILL"

The storms of life are sometimes hard to bear;
We look around, and no one seems to care.
It's then we hear a still, small voice above,
"Peace, be still! I've given you my love.

It's Jesus' voice that I can always hear.
The words sound kind, so sweet upon my ear.
He took away my hurts and my despair,
And gave me happiness beyond compare!
He said, "peace, be still"! and the waters were calm.
He just spoke the words and the storm was gone.
And I felt His hand reach out o'er my life;
He calmed my fears, and took away my strife.
