Another head shot of Kittara

Bonjour!  Buenos Dias!  Kon Nichiwa!  Buona Mattina!  Guten Morgen!

Hi everyone! Thanks for dropping in
...
I'm Kittara, a young home business person. I hope that you like the new layout. Of course it's still
green mostly. My favorite color!
But I'm hoping that this time things will look more professional. I did a lot of research of other candle sites out there. This is a compilation of all of the
things I liked best, plus some design help and lots of support from my family.

Hope you like the new site and please come visit again....

Kittara Imeria Mirrou

Who's Kittara?
I got this name some years ago while playing online, it's one of my major RPG characters. But I had
been using Kittara for a nickname around the same time. I just added a middle and last name for the
character part. But I like it as a nickname and have started to use it as a pen name too.
Due to the Child Protection Act, it's a lot safer for minors to use a nickname or other special name
online. It isn't a safe practice to use your real name unless it's a child safe site. Even then giving out personal information isn't advised without a parent or guardian's permission.

Why have an Online Store?
This site started out as a home schooling assignment. "Make a website - but have a reason for it."
No junk - garbage or negative sites. That was all the restrictions on it. My mom wanted us to "think".
I had been wanting some way to "make money" - not just spend it. Besides, I was running out of cash!
We'd learned about businesses - the brick and mortar type last year. They mostly cost lots of money.
But what about an online businesses? Low to no cost, but took some brain power and some creative
energy...it looked pretty easy...
It wasn't!
I've learned HTML, copied java scripts and looked over design layouts. I've studied marketing, joined some web rings and tried to stay positive. Believe me, I found out it isn't as easy as I'd thought.
I've gotten lots of visitors, but sales aren't exactly pouring into my Paypal account.
So I've redesigned my site and studied a lot more about having an online business. I just hope that with the changes I've made I'll start to generate some sales.
I really like candles, incense and the things I'm offering in my shop. I'm hoping to generate a positive income so I can start saving up for college. I'll be starting my high school course soon, which doesn't
give me a lot of time to start saving up.

If you would like to help me while I'm starting out, there is a donation button on the left menu bar. I'd
really appreciate any donations! I'm hoping to get my own domain and no-ads hosting service.

Thanks for visiting my new Online store!!
