Somewhere out there, is an Angel for me.
Though my eyes are open, her I can not see.
I look for her here and I look for her there,
It seems as if I have looked for her everywhere.
I know not the color of her eyes or of her hair,
But to me, I really do not care.
For the first place for me to start,
Is that I will look into her beating heart.
Her eyes will sparkle like the stars in the night,
Even the smallest twinkle will be so bright.
Her smile will her true beauty show,
For it is her inner beauty that will glow.
Her voice will be soft as the coo of a dove,
For off her tongue will come words of true love.
Her hair is silky and in the wind will blow,
And off her hair the full moon will glow.
Her skin will be so soft and so pure,
For this I know, I can be sure.
Her hands in mine will feel so small,
But not weak, no, not at all.
She walks at a slowly pace,
With Dignity, Style, and full of Grace.
She will be loved by many near and far,
For that is the way God's Angels are.
She has faith for her God above,
For He made her with the greatest of His love.
God put her on this earth for me,
For what reason, this I do not see.
Has he put me to a life-long test?
That He would give me one of the best?
God sent her from high above,
And put her on this earth for me to love.
To give her my all, the best that I can,
Even though I am just a simple man.
Mistakes I will make day by day,
But beside me, she will forever stay.
Like a blind man, I can not see,
Why God would give this Angel to me.
The many things I had done and said,
In my heart He has already read.
I have already made mistakes before,
And He knows I will make many more.
He knows that my heart has been broken,
For the many prayers that I have spoken.
I asked him for someone new to love,
And he gave me this Angel from above.
Where she is now I do not know,
Though I pray for this day, when she will show.
Have I walked past her and I did not see,
That this is the Angel God has made for me?
Does she know she was sent for me?
Or is this another test for me?
When will my eyes open to see,
The Angel God has sent for me?
There is a beautiful Angel somewhere out there,
With to whom all of my love I will share.
Somewhere, there is an Angel for me,
That one day soon, I hope to see.

If I promise to be quiet and still?

If I say I will love you till the day I die,
Will you know it is the truth and not a lie?
If I asked you to love me forever and a day,
Will you honestly these few words forever say?

It is late at night
and there is a flash of light.
The sound of the rain
is upon my window pane.
Reflections on the wall
of the objects in the hall.
The smell of rain is in the air
and it will stay and linger there.
The sound of the thunder, as it roars,
rattles my windows and my doors.
The life giving moisture, it will give
to the animals and plants, so they may live.
The rain is a welcome sight,
so let it rain, both day and night.
