Katrina was the girlfriend of Warren Mears who
unknowingly inspired him to leave his robot creation of April and flee
to Sunnydale. The pair eventually separated when April returned and
almost killed Katrina during the ensuing confrontation. When Warren
needed a guinea pig for a mind control device he had designed, he picked
Katrina and took over her motor functions, with the intention of using
her for sex. When the device was damaged, Katrina was appalled and was
determined to report Warren and his Trio cohorts for rape. When she
attempted to flee, Warren hit her over the head with a bottle and she
died. Her body was later discovered by police in Weatherly Park.
