HOW CAN WE COINCIDE WITH QUAID’S VIEW

The sun dawns on 14th august 1947, millions of people after humungous hard work, uncountable sleepless nights and fighting death eye to eye are finally filled with fervor and zest.  New hopes emerging, heart filled with passion, aims to be the mightiest and the spirit to do, to achieve and to prevail. And then we see a gentle man leading the stampede of these weary travelers consoling them, organizing them and imploring them, upholding the flame for a better Pakistan, that great man was our leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah. After 56 years of independence, can we hope to ignite even a spark of that flame in our hearts? Can we move parallel to our Quaid’s view ??

Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome !!! Welcome to a Pakistan where we can only speculate or more precisely we just want to speculate the future, where we think and talk and talk but do very little. In this condition this question hangs like a sword in front of us Can we make a better Pakistan? I am sorry to say but for our generation it’s a tough question to answer.

Pakistan …. A country destroyed by selfish aristocracy as claimed by many, but instead of pointing at some one lets check our own collars, ask yourself do you pay your taxes regularly, do you follow traffic rules, do you have civic sense and do you treat the people in minority with the equal rights, it’s a pity that instead of becoming better Pakistanis we’ve become a group of people doing whatever they could do in order to satisfy their lust. The people of Pakistan have been seriously let down by bad governance, poor economic management and corruption - and that this in turn has led Pakistan to make limited progress in every field

But is this the end…. Can we never rise from the condition that we’ve reached now? No… Friends every dark cloud has a silver lining, here we stand on the threshold of a new era, limitless problems boggle our minds, In what kind of a country our children and grand children will be living? It’s now our responsibility only and only our responsibility.

People Yes we can tear this dark veil of disparity we have the holyquran with us to make our faith firm and we have the guidance of Our great Quaid  to make us strong politically, its just a matter of approach you know only a single man brings a change and then the whole scenario is changed … lets revive the same fire within us, lets clear the dust on our mind, lets tear the gloom veil on our souls lets unleash the hidden supremacy with in us, lets prove that we are the Pakistanis that our forefathers had dreamt of  …. So that our souls could resurrect and we can face the upcoming challenges.

And for this Pakistan needs a set of donors who work well together. We should stand ready to rally around a single plan, to offer our commitment for the long-term, to build up the capacity of Pakistan's own institutions and to work together more collaboratively than in the past. This means sharing information, trusting each other's work, pooling funds and working with common procedures spreading mass education  sowing that justice is being done. Lets become man of value rather then being men of success.

Remember people we have not fallen, but we’ve just rotten our own pedestal, it now depends on the youth to provide it the same sound footing ….. by this we will only be able to satisfy our Quaid.

Now then

Will you just sit back and stare,

Or will you get up and care,

                        Care for the weary heart,

Care and make a new start,

Change the ways of the world today,

Just so that our children may,

See out country as a place

And not know its destructive face,

All that we know,  All that we hear

Should with us be buried hate, hunger and fear.

.
