The End

At the end of a performance a string player can finish with a flourish.

A wind player can keep the mouthpiece up to their mouth for a couple of seconds then move with the final gesture

With a conductor or partners be sure that you have memorised the final notes, then get eye contact and make sure that you finish together.

Do not be in a rush to leave the stage.
