| Stanley & Frances moved to Detroit about 1915. He worked the shipyards in Detroit at first and used the name LASKE due to discrimination against Polish. He became a plumber and steamfitter and worked for the Dodge brothers, even on their personal yacht. Frances worked as a seamstress for Packard Motor Car Co.
