| Art met Phyllis Ignatowicz, who lived around the corner on Palmer Avenue in Detroit. After marriage they lived with her parents until they moved to a brick bungalow on Dresden Street, north of 6 Mile Rd. between Gungston & Gratiot. They lived there to Phyllis' untimely death in December 1953. They had three lovely children who grew up on Dresden St. till 1964. At this time Art bought a bar in Forester and worked there till he retired to Port Austin with his second wife, Virginia. |
