Andreas & Maryanna lost a daughter, Ladislawa, in Poland before they came to America in 1902.  Another daughter, Zophia, was born in Bay City.  But, she and her brother, Frank, died of Scarlet Fever in 1908.  A son, John was born in Pennsylvania in 1903.  Another daughter, Theresa (Cieslinski), was born in 1910 in Bay City.  Their eldest daughter, Violet (Soitz), died after seven years of marriage in 1922, but bore two daughters, Virginia and Evelyn..

Andreas was a Journeyman blacksmith in Poland working directly for the Land Baron who paid his way to Ameica.  He continued his profession in the mines in Pennsylvaina and Bay City.  Maryanna (Grygiel) died in 1933 at age 65.  She had 2 sisters that also emigrated to the USA, Frances (Regulski), who stayed in Pennsylvania  and Rose (Hanczewski), who lived in Bay City.
