I got back from the Uk v. Louisville game about an hour ago and had a great time especially before the game. I didn't really care if we lost because I'm not a big fan of spectator sports. If you're gonna have a sport at least let me play!
I thank God that I don't have to work tomorrow, working at Fazoli's has really gotten me down. I grilled cheeseburgers with the owner of Ramsey's today and he offered me a starting position at $7.50 an hour. Right now I only get paid $6.13, so I think I'm gonna take the job.
I plan on recording some of my songs with Drew and Gabe this weekend, but it might not be possible. Some of the refugees from New Orleans are coming to stay at my church for a couple of weeks. I just want to get a few songs on a CD so I can give it to Christian Music Presenters when I do my audition next week. I also just want to have something put into permanence so I can start in a new direction with my music.
School has been fantastic so far, but definitely not easy. It takes awhile to get used to anything new. I finally got some R & R this weekend and I was so glad when I didn't have to wake up at 7 yesterday. My new studies are very interesting and sort of a culmination of everything I'd been working towards the last 3 years.
