Mujeres en Acción has been recognized for its work in the following ways:

- Recipient of a medal acknowledging MeA's role in the development of rural indigenous women within Guatemala by the Inter-American Institute of Central America

- Active participant in the conceptualization and completion of the Peace Accords, with a socioeconomic and agrarian focus
