| Bill's Metalwright Shop | |||||||||||||||
| I built this web-site site so I can share what I'm up to with friends and any interested family members. I call it the metalwright shop. Why, because it's a contraction of metal worker and millwright. I have had a varied career; as a stoker in the Navy, as a licensed marine mechanic, licensed millwright and after a stint in school late in life, a geotechnical engineer. And the shop is still where I like to be, whether building something fine and detailed, or just hacking something together. Most of my materials come from the local junkyard, or the local dumpster on occasion, so they are often not pretty, but usually work. I hope you find something worth the mouse click here. I update this site when I have something new and the time and the enthusiasm, which is to say infrequently. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] |
