HOMEWORK

Homework is given on a regular basis and will NEVER require the use of a computer. Homework is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class. No late homework will be accepted, NO EXCEPTIONS.

6th grade:

FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH: IF YOU HAVE MY CLASS 1ST -3RD PERIODS, REPORT TO THE GYM, I HAVE ONE MORE NC COMPUTER COMPETENCY EXAM MAKE UP SESSION.

Projects that students will have:

Career Research Project (To be completed in class)-This project will be fun for students to discover information about the career they would like to hold "When they grow up". They will uncover information they may have already known and tons of information they did not. In the end Students will create a Poster about their career to be entered in a school wide contest for both bragging rights and a prize!!

Class work	Review Vocabulary on various Career Clusters and Career Pathways. Career Research information distributed. Test on 4/26 or 4/27	Students determine which career they would most likely want to peruse. Begin Career Research Project.	Students will continue working on their career research projects.

8th grade:

VOCATS Testing will be held the week of MAY 15-19th. Make sure you study the question packets!!! Remember VOCATS makes up 20% of your 4th quarter grade!!!

Students will be assigned work on a regular basis to ensure concepts for the basic computer competency skills.

******Students who complete ALL VOCATS questions and turn in as assigned for homework, will be eligible for extra credit on their IN CLASS VOCATS SCORE (20 % of 4th quarter grade).******
