Week 17: Fish Takes Title!! Air Jordan went 4-0 in the 4pm games and won the Sunday Night game to win the prize and move up from 12th to 6th, along with taking all side bets. In the tightest finish in MSP history, Fish edges Putt for the season crown by a tiebreaker. Fish's meager -1 for the week gave him +27($400 prize + half off next season for my bounty on Putt), which matches Putt's +27 ($175 prize) after a -4 weekend. The title was decided by the POW tiebreaker. The husband and wife duo of Double Deuce and Long Shot take home the 3rd ($75) and 4th ($50) place prizes and again the difference was a tiebreaker, but it went to the 2nd tiebreaker which is MNF record which gives Double Deuce the edge. 5th and 6th place was also determined by the POW tiebreaker as Mark Andrew's +18 (POW 13-3) edged Air Jordan's +18 (POW 12-4). The Puss Hogs are correct when they give me crap about pushes. Next season, there will only be 1/2 point lines. 7th place goes to Big Red with +16. 8th place through 11 place all had +15, with the POW tiebreakers determining position. 8th goes to Flashy, 9th place goes to Da Bear. Zoom came from nowhere to take 10th. 11th goes to the Corporate Boys which sets up a playoff grudge match with Air Jordan. The Big Dawg slides into the last playoff position with +13. The league in general had a great season. Some years, players at -1 make the playoffs, this year we had 2 players in double digits who did not make the playoffs. Thank you for your patience this season. I will make the needed improvements for next season. Let me say for the record that I had to use reverse psychology to get the jinx that I was looking for.
