Homework

Students will have homework each night Monday through Thursday. Students will usually have a math worksheet and grammar worksheet.  No homework that is sent home will be new material.  ALL homework will be review of what your student is learning in class.

Weekly Spelling Homework

Monday—Write missed spelling words 5 times each

Tuesday—Put spelling words in alphabetical order and look up definitions for 10 words

Wednesday—Spelling Card and define 10 words

Thursday—Choose 10 words and use them each in a sentence, then study for test tomorrow

 

Please Note:

During AIMS preparation, students may have more homework and/or homework on the weekends.  This is in order to make sure students are prepared for AIMS.  This is a very important test for 5th graders and will help determine which classes they will get in middle school.
