Based in 1973, Las Vegas. Scorsese captures the essence of Mafia-controlled gambling at its peak. Sam "Ace" Rothstein (De Niro) is the frontman for the mob's billion-dollar empire. With control of the biggest casino, the money rolls over hand-over-fist. To keep account of Sam, the bosses send in Nicky Santoro (Pesci). They control Vegas with an iron fist and calculated intellect. Into the scene comes Ginger McKenna (Stone). To quote Pesci as Santoro, "they fucked it all up". Love and business don't mix.

This movie is loaded with every element a good mob movie should have. Action, suspense, love, hate, and betrayal. A recomended choice for any fan of mob movies.
