Every student has the opportunity to complete extra credit in class.
Below are a few ways:

If you see an article that deals with a subject or issue we have
discussed in class, simply cut out the article, type a summary and discuss
its connections to what you learned in class. (2
points extra credit)

If you see a program on TV that is relevant to a subject or issue,
simply type a summary of the show and discuss how the content of the program
was connected to what you learned in class. Make sure to include the
NAME, the CHANNEL, and the AIR DATE of the program in your summary. (3
points extra credit)

Choose any topic that has been recently discussed in class. Do an
internet search on that topic. Once you have found an appropriate web
site, print out a hard copy of the site's home page. Then, once you
have viewed the entire site, write a a page essay on how the site enriched
the material you learned in class. (5
points extra credit)
