Arguably the savior of the game, JOEL struck net when we needed it most converting a second half penalty to tie the game 1-1 vs the best team in the league (undefeated and only scored on 4 times before the babies showed up). Playing both offensive and defensive roles Joel contributed his 100+ effort to getting a result against Hammocks
Voted as second player of the game by 6 out of 15, out voting Jeffrey and Michael Posada by 4 each, Oliver was awarded player of the game for his performance against HAMMOCKS, the best team in the league. Perhaps being the most fouled player in the game along with Camilo trailing in fouls conceded, Oliver did his best trying to create opportunites up and down the left flank and doing his best to assist Jeffrey, our best defender, fend off Hammocks' offense from nearing Mike Posada's goal.
In only his second game as the team's goalkeeper Michael made 0 mistakes and perhaps the highlight of his game was when he stopped SKS's tallest forward on a 1v1 point blank shot just 15 feet away from Michael. Battling the wind and SKS' superior height advantage Michael managed to keep the ball out of the area for most of the game.
After Oli's send off Joel was left in command of the team and stepped up with much determination pressuring SKS on both halves of the field and providing tons of scoring opportunities to Alex and Max thourghout the game despite being down by 2 goals.
