Eye to Eye, Chapter 5
That same day....
Bankotsu: "Hey guys! Great news! Jun has finally decide to be my woman!"
Jakotsu: "Really? Is it true Jun?"
Jun: "...yes."
Jakotsu: ^-^
Jun: "Our water supply is low. I'm gonna go outside and stock up."
She left.
Jakotsu: "Bankotsu, when are we going to see Inuyasha?! Come to think of it, why haven't you told Jun about this yet?"
Bankotsu: "Are you crazy! She's INUTAISHO's daughter!"
Suikotsu: "So?"
Bankotsu: "Inutaisho and Naraku are enemies! What makes you think we can just go up to his DAUGHTER and tell her that we have an alliance with Naraku! And not only that but she told me that she had two brothers named Sesshomaru and Inuyasha! Incase you haven't realized, those are the two guys that Naraku has ordered us to kill!"
Jakotsu: "Well come to think of it,Jun does look a little like Inuyasha."
Bankotsu: "Exactly. Which is why I'm not telling her and neither are you! I don't want to lose her...and that's an order!"
Everyone: "Yes brother."
There was a knock on the door.
Bankotsu: "Ah Kohaku. You came just in time. Jun!"
Jun: "What is it?"
Bankotsu: "Jun,I'd like you to meet Kohaku."
Kohaku: "It's a pleasure to meet you Lady Jun. Lord Bankotsu has told me alot about you."
Jun: "Nice to meet you too. Bankotsu, he's an angel!"
Bankotsu: "Great. Would you mind watching him while we're gone?"
Jun: "Sure. Where are you going?"
Bankotsu: "We're going to do some uh...'training.'"
Jun: "Oh..ok. Be careful."
Bankotsu: "We'll be fine."
But Jun still looked worried so he gave her a 'please don't worry about me kiss'.
Bankotsu: "Don't worry. I'll be back by nightfall. Take good care of Kohaku."
Jun: "Ok."
Bankotsu and the others picked up their weapons and left.
Jun seemed ok with this routine. And the same thing happened for three weeks. Bankotsu and the others always came back home in one piece. But one night Bankotsu didn't come home.
Jun: "Where's Bankotsu?"
Jakotsu: "We don't know."
Jun: "What do you mean you don't know!"*grabbing Jakotsu by the collar*"What happened to my Bankotsu!!"
Jakotsu: "I'm sure he'll turn up."
11:00 p.m.
Jakotsu: "Jun? You're still up? You should go upstairs. You look tired."
Jun: "It's alright. I'm fine."
Jakotsu: "Jun. Please. See? You can barely get up. I'll carry you."
12:00 a.m.
Bankotsu: "I'm back."
Jakotsu: "What took you so long? Jun was worried sick about you. The poor girl was waiting for you all night."
Bankotsu: *sigh*"Jakotsu,you know Naraku called for me."
Jakotsu: "So, what'd he say?"
Bankotsu: "He wants me to kill Jun."
Jakotsu: "What?! You can't do that! You love her don't you?"
Bankotsu: "That's what I told him and then he told me to leave and just focus on the task of eliminating Inuyasha and Sesshomaru."
Jakotsu: "I guess you should go upstairs."
Upstairs...
Jun: "Bankotsu!"
Bankotsu: "Huh? Oh, hi Jun!"
Jun: "Don't 'hi Jun' me! Where the hell were you?!"
Bankotsu: "I can't tell you..."
Jun: "What?! You could have been attacked or something and you can't tell me?!
Bankotsu: "Jun..."
Jun: "Jun,what?! You've been doing this crap for three weeks and one day when you come in late you can't even tell me! How do expect us to have a good relationship if you're gonna start to keep secrets from me! Fine,forget it! Good-night Bankotsu!"
The next day Bankotsu and the others went off to do some 'training.' A few hours later,however,Jun got up and headed for the door.
Kohaku: "Where are you going Lady Jun?"
Jun: "I'm going to find Bankotsu!"
Kohaku: "Lord Bankotsu will kill me!"
Jun: "What was that?"
Kohaku: "Um...you shouldn't go."
Jun: "Why not?!"
Kohaku: "Uh..."
Jun: "Exactly. I'm going and that's that."
She walked out the door.
Kohaku: "No! Lady Jun!"
Kohaku tried to run after her but his speed was no match for Jun's. After sniffing him out she was able to find Bankotsu in less than an hour. Bankotsu was fighting Inuyasha.
Jun: *I don't understand. Why are they fighting Inuyasha and Sesshomaru? And why does it reek of blood and grave soil?*
When everyone saw Jun, they froze.
Bankotsu: "Jun..."
Jun: "So...this is what you meant by 'training'?!"
