Eye to Eye, Chapter 2
Kagome: "Jun, I've been thinking about something."
Jun: "What is it?"
Kagome: "You know tomorrow's my birthday,right?"
Jun: "Yes..."
Kagome: "So...what are you getting me?"
Jun: *sweatdrop* "Kagome! I can't tell you! Besides...I thought it was something important!"
Kagome: "That is important!"
Jun: "I have something to tell you too. I'm leaving."
Kagome: "Huh? Are you going to the store?"
Jun: "That's not what I meant. When I say I'm leaving I mean that I'm going back to Fuedal Era Japan."
Kagome: "Leaving?! When?"
Jun: "Tomorrow."
Kagome: "Tomorrow?! But tomorrow's my-"
Jun: "Kagome you didn't let me finish. I'm leaving tomorrow. After we celebrate your birthday that is."
Kagome: "Can't you stay a litlle longer?"
Jun: "Kagome, you knew this day would come. I'm not like you..."
Kagome: "But"
Jun: "....I'm from Fuedal Era Japan. And not only that, but I'm also a hanyou. Think of what would happen if I turned into my dog demon form?"
Kagome: "I guess you have a point..."
Ms.Hirugashi: "Kagome! Time to get ready for school."
Kagome: "Coming..."
Later that night...
Mrs.Hirugashi: "It's a shame that you have to leave us tomorrow Jun."
Souta: "I was just starting to get used to having a inu-shimai."
Ms.Hirugashi: "Kagome excused herself from dinner quiet early. Maybe you check on her."
Jun: "Yes, I will."
Jun went upstairs and knocked on Kagome's door. There was no answer.
Jun: "I know you're in there."
She opened the door.
Jun: "Kagome..."
Kagome: "..."
Jun: "I guess you're not going to talk to me,huh?"
Jun sat down next to Kagome and looked out the window.
Kagome: "Jun..."
Jun: "Hmm?"
Kagome: "Take me with you."
Jun: "What?!"
Kagome: "I want to be there to see you leave."
Jun: "Ok Kagome...it's the least I can do."
The next morning....
Everyone: "Happy Birthday Kagome!"
Few moments later...
Mrs.Hirugashi: "Ok Kagome! Time to open your presents! This one is from me and your grandpa."
Kagome opened the box that she gave her. It was a beautiful kimono.
Mrs.Hirugashi: "This one's from Souta: a silk robe and these are from Jun: a Ayumi Hamasaki cd and a bow and arrow."
Kagome: "Oh my gosh! Thanks so much!"
Hours later...
Jun: "Well, I guess this is it."
Mrs.Hirugashi: "Oh! Goodbye honey! Come back anytime!"
Souta: "You will come back won't you?"
Junketsu: "I will. I don't know when but I promise you."
Grandpa Hirugashi: "Good luck on your journey!"
Jun: "Thanks! Take care everyone!"
Everyone: "Bye!"
Jun: "Let's go kagome."
Moments later in the attic...
Jun: "Before I go,I want to give you something." *hands her a little scroll*
Kagome: "What is it?"
Jun: "It's sketch that my brother Sesshomaru did. This is how I look in demon form."
Kagome: "You don't look bad with short hair."
Jun: "Very funny. Good-bye Kagome."
Kagome: "Good-bye Jun-AAHH!"
Jun: "Hey! What kind of good-bye is that?"
Kagome: "No, behind you! From inside the well!"
Jun turned around.
Jun: *What's a youkai doing here?*"Kagome watch out!"
Too late. The youkai already caught Kagome and pulled her back into the well. Jun went after them.
Jun: "Kagome!"
Then all of a sudden there was bright light.
Junketsu: *The shikon no tama? Inside Kagome?* "Kagome!"
Youkai: "Foolish girl! I won't allow you to interfere!"
The youkai pushed Jun out of the way.
Kagome: "Jun!"
Jun: "Kagome!"
Later...
Jun: *My head hurts* "Where am I? Huh? I'm back in fuedal era japan! Where's Kagome? Kagome? Kagome? KAGOME!!"
