| Just Married This light-hearted comedy about two newlyweds is heavy on laughs and light on substance. Tom Leezack (Ashton Kuchar, That '70's Show) and Sarah McNerney (Brittney Murphy, 8 Mile) are two very opposite people who fall in love and decide to get married after a short courtship. This is where the clash between Sarah's family and Tom begins. A theme that is repeated throughout the movie. It doesn't help that he is a late night disc jockey, and she is the daugher of Beverly Hills millionares. After getting hitched, the couple travels to Europe for their honeymoon where everything goes completely wrong. This part of the movie is where all of the laughs come in. After learning what married life is going to be like, it is no surprse that they have second thoughts. The movie would make for a great first date because it is not too romantic, but very entertaining.. |
