What's a 'freebie list'?

Have you ever seen that Friends episode where they talk about their 'Freebie Lists?'

The basic idea is that you can have five celebrities that you can sleep with, and your partner can't get mad at you. The rules are:

  • They must be celebrities. You cannot put your partner on the list. It defies the point. Ok, Carly?
  • You do have to sleep with them, and that is all. No movie first, no quiet drink.

Seems like a sound idea to me.

Though it didn't seem to work out too well for Ross (he bumped Isabella Rossellini -international - for Winona Ryder - local. Then Isabella came to the coffee house, Rachel said he could have her as an alternate, and so he tried to pick her up. It all went to hell when he showed her the list - laminated - without her name on it.)

So, all of us here at Blocky * have devised our very own freebie lists, although, seeing as how three of four of us are single, they are more 'Celebrities I Really Want To...Do' lists.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

No, the freebie list is not an immoral thing. Despite what some people say. Dian, it should be clear by now I'm talking to you. Remember people: hypothetical.

Whats the 'Dinner List'?

The freebie lists are sometimes problematic. In the beginning I had John Cusack on mine, but I felt a bit rude about it. You can't just sleep with John Cusack, you've gotta have dinner with him first. Otherwise it's impolite. Ok, I might be insane. Anyway, dinner first is against the rules. So I invented the 'Dinner List'. This is five celebrities that you would take out on a date. The rules of the dinner list are:
  • They must not appear on your freebie list
  • It is a date. You can pick members of your non-preferred gender (see how PC I was there??) but remember that it is a date. You WILL have to kiss them. And look at them over candles. Or something.

I want mine up!

For a while I was experimenting with a form that would send your freebies to my email. It worked about half the time. Very annoying. So, if you'd like your freebies up and don't mind waiting a few days (the time period it takes me to get my ass into gear) just email me. The link is at the bottom of the page.
