PRIVATE SESSIONS:
 
Acupuncture: $95/session, $250 = 4 sessions in 4 weeks
Shiatsu: $95/session
Students currently enrolled in class: $65/session
Former students: $85/session
Shiatsu lesson: $65/hr

Unless otherwise noted, all classes, workshops, and practice sessions are held at The Motherhand Society, 51 West 14th Street, #3f, just east of 6th Avenue.
The Motherhand Society Apprenticeship Program is a fourteen month program covering the basic tenets of Eastern healing philosophy along with hand on practice of working with the twelve meridians. We also seek to impart a sense of responsibility to our family and community relationships through out the course. We teach our students to use their shiatsu practice as a self discipline, a self healing practice which directly benefits their friends, their family and their community.

Zazen, a form of silent, sitting meditation is an integral part of our training. We are interested in training our students to become conscientious community servants, not clinical health technicians. Our program reflects this intention with our emphasis on making the practice a spiritual practice and making our commitment to self healing and serving our community.
