From the moment my family had our first exchange student, Sarah Javaux in 1998, the thought about becoming an exchange student crossed my mind. Although back then I was thinking more along the lines of, 'whoah won't things be cool when I'm that old'. So my reasons for wanting to become an exchange student have changed a little since then, but the basis is pretty much the same. They were co ntinuously telling me about the things they were getting to do and places they were getting to go, and that I should definitely go on an exchange when I'm old enough because it will be the greatest experience of my life.

In 2006 I am on a "Rotary International Long Term Youth Study Exchange" in Germany, hosted by the Rotary Club of Brake, near Bremen and Oldenburg in Niedersachsen, Rotary District 1850.
