Ever wonder what happens beyond Hogwarts? Ever think to yourself "Okay, so they finish their primary and secondary schooling... But then what?" Well, just like real life, those who wish to do more than work the generic nine to five at a dead-end job with zero per cent satisfaction... They attend university!

Yes, Moonshine University is a prestigious post-secondary school for witchcraft and wizardry, one which specializes in readying its students for fulfilling careers in the various law-enforcement positions that are required to keep the Wizarding World safely afloat.

Ah yes, the inevitable question on everybody's minds... What happens to the canons? Well, this Online RPG, while we try to differentiate it from Rowling's popular books, is still based on the world of Harry Potter. And as such, the important characters from the literature and films are of course included here.

Harry Potter and the others of his year are all set to enter their second year at the school in their chosen majors. It is the year 1999, and with the new Millenium approaching, will things go dreadfully wrong? Sure, Voldemort was finally defeated ages ago now... But isn't that what everyone thought years ago?

But while staff and students are busy worrying about the potential return of the Dark Lord, as well as any number of other tragedy associated with the coming of the new year, a dark and powerful force from centuries past is gaining power... And if it is not defeated, it could mean the end of every Muggle and Wizard with less than 100% untainted blood. And the end of the life that the purebloods now know and live.

But the question is... Will they catch it in time..?

Well, MU is an online Roleplaying Community, in case you haven't figured that much out for yourself. The Administrative Staff of MU - Kiki, Sia, Hope, and Emmy - are four females of varying age, lifestyle, and interests. But we all share three things in common - our love of Harry Potter, our love of Online Roleplay, and our desire to combine the former two with one thing - Quality.

There are far too many RPs out there that don't take the hobby - or themselves - seriously. Let's be honest, it's no fun to write a two-page post on an RP board, only to have somebody who don't care a basket of rotten eggs come along and reply with two sentences. In the end, it's a waste of the effort you've put into your character development and the writing of the post.
