Motor
In order to maintain some semblence of streetability, some aspects of the design are a compromise.  Compression was limited to 10.8:1 with aluminum heads to run on 93 octane.  An overdrive trans is used.  A full exhaust system with tailpipes is in place.  The heater, wipers and full interior have been retained.  All accessories are operable except for the A/C which has been removed.  The stock tank has been sumped to avoid using a fuel cell, which would take up most of the trunk space.  This space is needed to transport the slicks to the track.
